A 10-day workshop titled "Sparse graphs: treewidth, planarity, bounded expansion" under the Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The workshop will take place at IIT Dharwad, Karnataka, India during 24 February-7 March 2024. The primary speakers of the workshop are Prof. Florent Foucaud from Université Clermont Auvergne, France and Prof. Sagnik Sen from IIT Dharwad, India. Dharwad is well connected by air and railways. Dharwad is a nice place with several excellent weekend gateaways (Goa, Hampi, Chikmagalur, Gokarna, Murudeswar, etc.) and many tourist attractions at close proximity (Dandeli forest, Badami caves, Yana caves, Mirjan fort, etc.).
