Har Ghar Tiranga is a campaign by Government of India that started under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in 2022 to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark India’s Independence Day on 15th August.
The initiative aims to strengthen the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
In 2022, over 23 crore households participated in the campaign, with more than 6 crore people uploading selfies. In August 2023, over 10 crore people uploaded their selfies on the Har Ghar Tiranga website.
This year Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign will be celebrated from 13th to 15th August 2024.
In this regard, Members may encourage employees and their families to hoist the Indian National Flag at their residence and upload a selfie with the flag at https://harghartiranga.com/ between 13-15 August 2024.
