We were delighted to host Prof. Sri Sivakumar from the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, who delivered an insightful talk on “Designing Nanomaterials for Targeted Drug Delivery and Organ-on-a-Chip Systems” at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Dharwad, during the ANRF-Sponsored Symposium on Smart Interfaces: Colloids in Medicine, Energy, and Materials, held on 9th October 2025.

Prof. Sivakumar discussed the design and engineering of nanomaterials for applications in biosensing, drug delivery, and organ-on-a-chip (OOC) systems. His talk emphasized how nanomaterials owing to their tunable properties and biological precision are revolutionizing diagnostics, therapeutics, and disease modeling. The Department sincerely thanks Prof. Sivakumar for his engaging and thought-provoking lecture that inspired participants and young researchers alike.
