Visit by Prof.Dipin S. Pillai (IIT Kanpur) to the Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Dharwad
On October 23, 2025, Prof. Dipin S. Pillai, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, visited the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Dharwad.
During his visit, Dr. Pillai conducted an engaging interactive session with third- and final-year undergraduate students, focusing on internship opportunities at IIT Kanpur for third-year students. He also provided valuable insights into the Ph.D. program at IIT Kanpur, highlighting the possibility of direct admission for IIT Dharwad B.Tech. graduates through an interview process.
The session was well-received by the students, who actively participated and engaged in an enriching discussion with Dr. Pillai.
The event was organized by Prof. Shaswatha Ghosh and Prof. C. Ravikumar of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Dharwad.
