Dr. Achyut Mani Tripathi from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Dharwad, in collaboration with Dr. Om Jee Pandey from the Department of Electronics at IIT BHU, has had their work titled "Semi-Supervised Knowledge Distillation Framework Towards Lightweight Large Language Model for Spoken Language Translation" accepted at the esteemed A* ranked AI/ML conference, the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) 2025. This research introduces an innovative Semi-Supervised Knowledge Distillation framework aimed at training a lightweight Large Language Model (LLM) for Spoken Language Translation.
