Mr. Jack Benjamin, an MS research scholar at IIT Dharwad, working under the guidance of Dr. Pratyasa Bhui and Dr. Animesh Sahoo, Ph.D., presented his research titled "Enhanced Fault Current Utilization by Grid-Forming Inverter Using Non-Linear Transient Virtual Resistance During Symmetrical Faults" at the 23rd National Power Systems Conference (NPSC) 2024, held at Indian Institute of Technology, Indore from December 14–16. The study focuses on maximizing fault current injection near the inverter's maximum current capability during symmetrical short circuit faults. During the conference, Mr. Benjamin also engaged in meaningful interactions with academic peers, fellow researchers, and industry professionals, fostering valuable connections and knowledge exchange.
