Ms. Supraja D. K. from the Department of Mathematics, participated in the 25th Max Planck Advanced Course on the Foundations of Computer Science (ADFOCS 2025), held from 18–22 August 2025 at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Saarbrücken, Germany. The 2025 edition focused on “Graph Decompositions and Efficient Algorithms” with lectures by Maria Chudnovsky, Michał Pilipczuk, and Thatchaphol Saranurak. The summer school brought together around 130 participants from across the globe for lectures, exercises, and networking in theoretical computer science and mathematics. Ms. Supraja received a 300-euro grant (limited to select participants) towards the registration fee and presented a poster titled: “Isometric path partition: an upper bound and a characterization of some extremal graphs”, a joint work with Dr. Irena Penev, Dr. R. B. Sandeep and Dr. S. Taruni.
