IIT Dharwad was honored to participate in the PAN IIT World of Technology 2025 (PIWOT 2025), held from January 17-19, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

The Workshop on Digital System Design using Altera FPGAs,organized by the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, was successfully conducted on 17th & 18th January 2025 at IIT Dharwad.

Dr. Nilkamal Mahanta has contributed to the anniversary feature article of "Nature chemical biology" journal titiled " Thoughts for the future"

Shri Vinay M Talageri, a Ph.D. research scholar, successfully conducted a 30-hour Atal Tinkering Lab training for 12 government school teachers from villages around Hubli-Dharwad.

Prof. Kedar Khandeparkar and Ms. Smruti Prava Dash presented their paper titled "A Representation Learning-Based Time Series Label Propagation for Smart Grid Attack Detection" at the 8th International Conference on Data Science and Management of Data.

Dr. Animesh Sahoo, Assistant Professor from the Power and Energy Group of the Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering Department at IIT Dharwad, was recently invited as a guest speaker in the workshop.

Shri Vinayak B Patil, Junior Superintendent (PhD Scholar under Institute Staff category), presented his paper titled "Does transition to renewables upsurge energy security and sustainability? A review for Karnataka"

Prof. Ridhima Tewari was invited by the Department of English to deliver the 'Prof. Sarojini Shintri Endowment Lecture' at Karnataka University, Dharwad.
