In his address, Prof. VenkappayyA R. dEsAi, Director, IIT Dharwad, highlighted the significance of teachers by explaining the various Sanskrit names attributed to them – Shikshak, Guru, Adhyapak, Acharya, Upadhyay, Patak, Prerak, and Margadarshi. The programme was seamlessly compered by Prof. Prof Ramjee Repaka, Dean (Faculty Welfare).
