On July 9, 2025, IIT Dharwad welcomed a group of SC/ST students from government hostels in Belagavi as part of a unique outreach initiative by the Karnataka Social Welfare Department. Dr. C. Ravikumar, Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Outreach) of IIT Dharwad, interacted with the students in an engaging session held at IIT Dharwad campus.
