Mrs Kalpana Arvind, an outstanding scientist and Associate Director at LEOS-ISRO. She has an impressive career spanning over 37 years, where she has played a pivotal role in developing advanced sensor technologies for numerous Indian space missions, including INSAT, Chandrayaan, and Mars Orbiter Mission. Her expertise lies in miniaturization, fiber optic gyroscopes, and MEMS sensors, and she has led the design and development of critical payloads for Chandrayaan-2 and 3.
