IITDH Faculty Illuminates AI’s Role in Health Science and Yoga at MDNIY Workshop
New Delhi, February 28, 2025 – The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi, hosted an innovative workshop titled Understanding Systematic Review: Integrating Data Mining and Machine Learning Methods in Health Research. Among the key contributors was Prof. Konjengbam Anand, who delivered an enlightening session on Applications of AI on Health Research and Yoga on February 28, 2025, spotlighting the fusion of artificial intelligence (AI) with traditional wellness practices and its promising applications in yoga and health science.
Held at MDNIY’s advanced facility, the workshop convened experts, yoga practitioners, and healthcare professionals to explore how technology can enhance holistic well-being. Prof. Anand, enlightened the audience with a lucid introduction to AI, breaking down complex concepts like machine learning, data analytics, and predictive modelling. His session underscored how these tools could be harnessed to bridge modern science with the timeless practice of yoga.
