Dr. Amarnath Hegde presented his paper entitled Barrier Systems to Protect Critical Transportation Infrastructure from Impact-Induced Ground Vibrations during the 5th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics 2024 at Sydney, Australia, during   20-22 November 2024. 
In addition, Dr. Hegde also chaired a technical session on the theme, Advanced Modelling in Transportation Infrastructure during the conference. The conference was organized by the University of Technology Sydney in association with the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS).
