About Me

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Dharwad. Before joining here, I worked as a Global Support Engineer at COMSOL Multiphysics Pvt. Ltd., providing technical support to customers, colleagues, and distributors worldwide.

I have mainly focused on the Multiphysics Finite Element (FE) analysis of Low-frequency magnetic components like Rotating Machines, Transformers, etc. Along with this, I also worked on simulations related to Plasma reactors and Semiconductor devices.

My PhD thesis focuses on deriving magneto-mechanical hysteresis models and formulations to model the anisotropic behaviour of grain-oriented materials used in power transformers. The developed models are implemented in FE formulations. I am well-versed in coding platforms like MATLAB and SCILAB and have developed FE codes for electromagnetic problems.
