Course Description

This is a first level post-graduate course on Linear Algebra. In this course, the preliminary focus is on linear functions and matrix theory. Starting from the systems of linear equations the course proceeds to formal discussions on different concepts like fields, vector spaces, polynomials, eigenvalues and eigenvectors etc. The objective of this course is to understand these concepts from the perspective of applications to various engineering fields, specifically, in Electrical Engineering.

Modus Operandi

This semester the classes will be in online mode. The classes will be conducted over Google Meet. The link for joining classes is given above. The classes will be recorded and uploaded on moodle. The course notes will be uploaded under Course Notes in left menu. Assignments will be uploaded on moodle periodically which have to be submitted in the given timeline.

Evaluation Policy
